    Ice picks:
    Wednesday's best NHL bet$

    Detroit Red Wings
at New York Rangers (-145, 5)

The New York Rangers became the first team in the East to clinch a playoff spot with Tuesday’s win over New Jersey and look ready to fight to hold on to the No. 1 seed. Brandon Prust, Stu Bickel and Mike Rupp all dropped their gloves just three seconds into Tuesday’s game, setting the tone for the club’s 4-2 victory. "We've really worked hard all year for this opportunity," Brandon Dubinsky told reporters after recording a goal and an assist. "I think from the get-go we said the playoffs wasn't our goal. We want home-ice advantage. We want to put ourselves in a good position going into the playoffs, and more importantly, we want to try to be playing our best hockey going in."That win was just New York’s third in eight games, but could be the victory that the club needs for the final push of the regular season. The Rangers also catch a break with Detroit’s starting goaltender Jimmy Howard out again with a groin injury. Pick: Rangers

    St. Louis Blues
    at Anaheim Ducks (+115, 5)

The trip back to St. Louis would have felt a lot longer if the Blues didn’t come away with a 3-1 win over Tampa Bay Saturday. St. Louis had dropped consecutive games on the road, but managed to blanket Tampa Bay’s attack in a textbook Ken Hitchcock victory. "We know that we've got a ways to go and that we can't take nights off like we did before tonight ... the last four or five games," forward T. J. Oshie told reporters. "That wasn't the way that we play and the way we can win. ... (This win) as a whole, we made a big jump as a team."While the Blues are trying to lock down first place overall in the league, you just don’t know what you’re going to get from the Ducks these days. They made a good run for the playoffs but look to be running out of steam. Pick: Blues

    Wednesday's best NIT bet$

    Minnesota Golden Gophers
at Middle Tennessee State Blue Raiders (-3, 134)

A road victory over an in-state rival combined with Minnesota's upset of Miami gave Middle Tennessee State a home game with a chance to earn a trip to the NIT semifinals. The Blue Raiders used a phenomenal finish - they closed the game on a 15-0 run - to knock off top-seeded Tennessee on Monday, setting up a home contest against Minnesota, which was dominant from the outset in a 78-60 win at Miami in the second round. The No. 6-seed Golden Gophers have been road warriors in the tournament, winning at La Salle in the first round and at Miami in the second round. They never trailed against the Hurricanes, opening the game on a 12-0 run and extending their 12-point halftime lead with a 15-2 run early in the second half. Perhaps the most impressive part of Minnesota's run through the first two rounds is that it has come without 6-foot-11 senior Ralph Sampson III, who averages 7.9 points and 4.6 rebounds and provides a menacing presence in the post. Sampson was expected to return for the opener against La Salle but still has not made his return from a knee injury. Minnesota is one of six teams with 25 or more wins in the history of the NIT. The Gophers have reached at least the second round in 11 of their 14 NIT appearances. Pick: Golden Gophers

    Nevada Wolf Pack
    at Stanford Cardinal (-6, 137.5)

Less than 48 hours after rallying to beat Illinois State in overtime, third-seeded Stanford hosts No. 5-seed Nevada in the NIT quarterfinals with a trip to New York’s Madison Square Garden on the line. Nevada, the Western Athletic Conference regular season champion, opened the NIT with wins over Oral Roberts and Bucknell, and the Wolf Pack have won nine of their last 11 games. The Wolf Pack advanced to the quarterfinals for the first time in program history after forward Olek Czyz scored 24 points in the team’s 75-67 victory over eighth-seeded Bucknell on Sunday. WAC Player of the Year Deonte Burton averages a team-high 14.8 points, and his matchup with Stanford point guard Chasson Randle should be worth the price of admission. One win away from equaling the school record of 29 victories set in 2006-07, Nevada held opponents to 40.9 percent shooting to lead the WAC.Like Nevada, Stanford is a solid defensive team that holds opponents to an average of 63.7 points. Pick: Wolf Pack

Key stat 30.3 Minnesota Timberwolves forward Kevin Love leads the NBA in scoring during the month of March, putting up 30.3 points per contest. He’s also averaging 13.5 rebounds and 2.9 3-pointers through 10 games this month, though the Timberwolves are just 5-5 both straight up and against the spread heading into Wednesday’s date with San Antonio.

    Injury that shouldn’t be overlooked
Jimmy Howard, Detroit Red Wings -

Howard has re-injured his groin and is considered day-to-day. Howard returned from a groin injury a couple weeks ago and has reportedly suffered a relapse. The netminder allowed four goals on 21 shots in the Red Wings' 5-3 loss to the Washington Capitals on Monday night and has just one win in his last eight starts. Detroit has recalled goalie Ty Conklin on an emergency basis from Grand Rapids of the AHL. Conklin must clear re-entry waivers in order to join the team for Wednesday's contest against the New York Rangers. Howard has a 33-15 record with a 2.15 GAA and .920 save percentage in 52 games this season.

    Game of the day
Los Angeles Lakers at Dallas Mavericks (-4.5, 188)

    Notable quotable
"It definitely showed our fans' passion. It's frustrating for the players as well as the fans right now. We made a trade, which is, in my opinion, the reason why there was the reaction. We made a trade that's not going to help us this year. It's going to help us next year, when Andrew Bogut gets back." – Golden State Warriors forward David Lee after the team’s owner was booed relentlessly by the hometown crowd Monday for trading away Monta Ellis. The Warriors are set as 2-point underdogs against New Orleans on Wednesday.

    Notes and tips

NIT bettors are jumping on the Stanford Cardinal in their semifinal matchup with the Nevada Wolf Pack on Wednesday. Stanford opened as a 5.5-point favorite but was pegged at -6 across the board by late Tuesday evening. A little more than 56 percent of Covers.com Consensus bettors are backing Stanford.

Denver Nuggets forward Danilo Gallinari could miss up to four weeks because of a broken left thumb. Gallinari left Monday's 112-95 loss to the Dallas Mavericks in the third quarter after attempting to block a shot and hitting the thumb on the backboard. X-rays revealed a fracture after the game. The 23-year-old leads the Nuggets in scoring at 15.6 points per game.

Philadelphia Flyers defenseman Andrej Meszaros will undergo surgery Wednesday to remove a small disk fracture in his lower back and will miss six to eight weeks. The procedure will be done by Dr. Alex Vaccaro at Thomas Jefferson Hospital in Philadelphia. Meszaros has missed the Flyers' last nine contests and has seven goals and 18 assists in 62 games this season.

The Memphis Grizzlies signed veteran guard Gilbert Arenas to a contract on Tuesday. Terms of the deal were not disclosed for Arenas, who worked out with the team on Monday. Arenas has been out of the NBA since the Orlando Magic used their amnesty provision to rid themselves of his $63 million contract this past offseason. The Los Angeles Lakers took a look at Arenas last month but passed on signing the veteran, who posted a career-low 10.8 points on 36.6 percent shooting last season. He’s undergone multiple surgeries on his left knee but has recently done platelet rich plasma therapy, which he says has helped.

    FULLCOURT REPORT:
SWEET 16 BETTING NEWS AND NOTES
    Steve Merril's Point Of View

    East Region
The East held form in the top half of the bracket with No. 1-seed Syracuse and No. 4-seed Wisconsin advancing to the Sweet Sixteen. From the bottom half, No. 2-seed Ohio State is still alive with No. 6-seed Cincinnati rounding out the group. There were no upsets in the East in the first eight games played as the higher seed won every game and we only saw one upset in the Round of 32 when No. 6-seed Cincinnati beat No. 3-seed Florida State 62-56 as a 2-point underdog. However, of the top seeds, only Wisconsin made it through with a perfect 2-0 against the spread (ATS) record as Syracuse and Ohio State both went 1-1 ATS last week.Ohio State is a solid 8-point favorite over Cincinnati on Thursday night, but the Bearcats have been on a terrific pointspread run since the second week of February, going 10-3 ATS over their last 13 games, including a 4-2 ATS mark as an underdog. Syracuse is a 3.5-point favorite over Wisconsin in the first game on Thursday. Unlike Cincinnati, the Orangemen are on a terrible pointspread run at just 5-11 ATS over their last 16 games. However, Syracuse has won 14 of those 16 games straight up, with nine of those wins coming by seven or more points. Keep in mind Syracuse is now playing without their 7-foot center Fab Melo, who was ruled ineligible last week before the NCAA Tournament began. Melo is only sixth on the team in scoring at 7.8 points per game, however he is a force defensively and was name the Big East Defensive Player of the Year. He also led the Orangemen in rebounding (5.8) and blocks (2.9) per game this season.

    West Region
The West has three of the top four seeds remaining alive with No. 1-seed Michigan State, No.3-seed Marquette, and No. 4-seed Louisville playing in the Sweet Sixteen. After No. 15-seed Norfolk State’s major upset of No. 2-seed Missouri as a 21-point underdog, the bottom of the bracket was wide open and No. 7-seed Florida took advantage to complete the foursome. Florida also had the easiest game in the Round of 32 as they beat Norfolk State by a whopping 34 points (84-50) as a 14-point favorite. Michigan State, Louisville, and Marquette won their games by a combined 16 points. Both games in the West on Thursday night are projected to be close as Marquette is just a 1.5-point favorite over Florida and Michigan State is just a 5-point favorite over Louisville. Favorites cashed at a 75 percent clip (9-3 ATS) in the first two rounds in the West Region with their average win coming by a whopping 14.9 points per game.

    Midwest Region
The Midwest didn’t quite play out as the other three regions. The top two seeds, No. 1-seed North Carolina and No. 2-seed Kansas are still alive. But the No. 3-seed through No. 10 seeds were all eliminated which left No. 11-seed NC State and No. 13-seed Ohio as two surprise teams in the Sweet 16. Kansas narrowly covered the spread against Detroit in their 85-70 win as a 14-point favorite and were never covering against Purdue as an 8-point favorite and the Jayhawks were lucky to escape with a 63-60 win as they trailed outright for the majority of that game.North Carolina has been the most impressive team in the Midwest as the Tar Heels won their two games by 19 and 14 points, while going 2-0 ATS. However, UNC suffered a major blow on Sunday when point guard Kendall Marshall fractured his wrist against Creighton. Marshall underwent surgery on Monday and had a screw inserted in his injured wrist and his status for Friday's game versus Ohio is still uncertain. Marshall is shooting 46.7 percent from the floor this season, including 35.4 percent from 3-point range, and most importantly he leads the Tar Heels with 351 assists. No other player has more than 45 assists this season.NC State and Ohio are a combined 4-0 ATS so far in the NCAA Tournament. The Wolfpack and the Bobcats are both sizeable underdogs on Friday night; NC State is +8 against Kansas, while Ohio is +10.5 against North Carolina. The Wolfpack are on a perfect 7-0-1 ATS run with five of those wins coming in the role of an underdog. Ohio actually came into this tournament on a downswing as the Bobcats were on a 1-4 ATS run prior to their two pointspread covers against Michigan and South Florida.

    South Region
The South mostly played to form with three of the top four seeds remaining alive in the NCAA Tournament with No. 1-seed Kentucky, No. 3-seed Baylor, and No. 4-seed Indiana all making the Sweet 16. The bottom two games of the South bracket saw two upsets when No. 10-seed Xavier beat No. 7-seed Notre Dame and No. 15-seed Lehigh beat No. 2-seed Duke. Xavier completes the quartet. This will be the fourth time over the last five years in which the Musketeers have won at least two games in the NCAA tournament.Kentucky (-9 over Indiana) and Baylor (-6 over Xavier) are both big favorites on Friday to advance to the Elite 8. After failing to cover their large 26.5-point spread against overmatched Western Kentucky, the Wildcats showed their superiority with an 87-71 win over Iowa State as an 11-point favorite. Baylor is 2-0 ATS if you are a good shopper as the Bears snuck inside the number (-7.5) with a 68-60 win over South Dakota State. Next, they blew out Colorado by 17 points (80-63) also as a 7.5-point favorite. Xavier is 2-0 ATS so far, while Indiana is 1-1 ATS. Overall, underdogs hold a slight edge in the South going 7-5 ATS with five outright wins so far.

    Kentucky remains a heavy favorite
    to win the NCAA Tournament
with a 30 percent chance based on their true mathematical odds
Followed by Ohio State at 14 percent,
    North Carolina at 11 percent.

    L.A. Lakers (28-18)
    at Dallas Mavericks (27-20)

    American Airlines Center

With their three-week slump behind them, the Dallas Mavericks are playing well enough that they might finally be able to beat the Los Angeles Lakers this season. The Mavericks look for a fifth consecutive victory while trying to snap a four-game regular season skid against the struggling Lakers on Wednesday night at the American Airlines Center.Dallas (27-20) had the fourth-best record in the Western Conference before enduring a stretch where it lost nine of 12 while averaging 92.7 points on 42.1 percent shooting. Since then, the defending champions have averaged 106.5 points and shot 49.1 percent during a four-game winning streak that has them sitting fifth in the West."Right now, it is about getting wins and moving ourselves up the ladder," veteran guard Vince Carter said.Dirk Nowitzki had 33 points, 11 rebounds and six assists as the Mavericks shot 53.6 percent and allowed 17 fourth-quarter points in a 112-95 win at Denver on Monday."It was one of the smartest played games I've seen in the league all year long," Dallas coach Rick Carlisle said. "Very disciplined, aggressive, but not frantic and we moved the ball the way we had to."Nowitzki has averaged 28.5 points on 54.8 percent shooting (40 of 73), including 10 of 19 from 3-point range, in the last four games. He's scored 46 points despite making 43.6 percent of his shots versus Los Angeles this season. With Nowitzki currently shooting the ball well and the Mavericks playing at a high level, they seem to be in good position to finally achieve some regular-season success versus Los Angeles. Though Dallas swept the Lakers in the second round of the playoffs last season, Los Angeles has won the last four regular season meetings, including the last two at the American Airlines Center by matching 96-91 scores. The Lakers (28-18) have won both meetings this season by a combined eight points."We got swept last year, and (it's) on our minds," said All-Star Lakers center Andrew Bynum, who has recorded 36 points and 29 rebounds against the Mavericks this season.Averaging an NBA-leading 28.7 points, Kobe Bryant has totaled 29 on 11-of-37 shooting (29.7 percent) versus Dallas in 2011-12. He's gone 13 of 47 (27.7 percent) from the field while the Lakers have dropped their last two following a five-game winning streak. After being held to 15 points on 3-of-20 shooting in a 103-99 home loss to Utah on Sunday, Bryant scored 29 in Tuesday's 107-104 defeat at Houston. Bryant also shed the protective mask he had been wearing since Dwyane Wade broke his nose in the All-Star game, and does not expect to wear it again."I might donate it, see if anybody's dumb enough to buy that sweaty mask," Bryant said.Los Angeles, which dropped three straight Jan. 19-22, shot 50.6 percent against the Rockets but could not prevent Goran Dragic from hitting the go-ahead 3-pointer with 28 seconds remaining. The Lakers also committed 15 turnovers and were outrebounded 40-31 en route to having their season-high three-game road winning streak end.Though Los Angeles has won five of eight, it's allowed an average of 102.0 points during that span."I'm concerned," Bryant said, "but I'm confident we'll get it (the defense) fixed. We've responded to challenges all year, and in a way, it's good to go through something like this."The Lakers might catch a break if Dallas starting forward Shawn Marion misses a third straight game with a sore left knee.

    Minnesota Timberwolves (23-24)
    at San Antonio Spurs (29-14)

    AT&T Center

After dominating the series with the Minnesota Timberwolves for the last five years, the San Antonio Spurs have dropped this season's first two matchups.Their final meeting Wednesday night, however, seems like it could shape up differently. This time, the Spurs have Manu Ginobili, the Timberwolves are without Ricky Rubio and the setting is the AT&T Center, where San Antonio has won the last 14 meetings. The Southwest Division-leading Spurs (29-14) lost 106-96 to Minnesota on Jan. 2, snapping a 16-game winning streak in the series. Kevin Love had 24 points and 15 rebounds for the Timberwolves, who hadn't defeated San Antonio since Jan. 3, 2007, and the Spurs were dealt a major blow as Ginobili broke his left hand.Ginobili missed the next 22 games, including an 87-79 loss in Minnesota on Jan. 27. Love had 18 points and 16 rebounds, Rubio scored nine of his 18 in the fourth quarter and the Timberwolves finished the game on an 8-0 run.San Antonio is 17-6 since and has moved into second place in the Western Conference. Minnesota (23-24) is on the outside of the playoff picture, and its postseason aspirations took a major hit when Rubio suffered a season-ending ACL tear two weeks ago.The veteran Spurs should be well rested for this matchup having been off since Saturday's 106-99 loss to Dallas. Tim Duncan and Danny Green scored 17 apiece while Tony Parker had 13 points and 11 assists for San Antonio, which lost for the first time in four games. The time off should certainly benefit Ginobili, who had nine points on 3-of-11 shooting against the Mavericks after sitting out Friday's 114-105 road win over West-leading Oklahoma City with a hip flexor injury. He had averaged 13.8 points on 57.1 percent shooting - 59.1 from 3-point range - and 5.4 assists in his previous five games."The hip is much better," Ginobili said. "Not the best I've ever felt, but much better than last week. So that has me optimistic."A home game against the Timberwolves could have the Spurs feeling confident as they try to avoid losing two in a row for the first time since falling to Minnesota and Dallas at the end of January.San Antonio has won 14 straight at home over the Timberwolves since a 100-93 loss Jan. 14, 2004. That's tied for the fourth-longest active home winning streak over one team.Minnesota arrives in San Antonio for the sixth stop of a seven-game trip after beating Golden State 97-93 on Tuesday. Love finished with 36 points and 17 rebounds for his league-leading 39th double-double as the Timberwolves won for the second time in seven games.Love averages team highs of 25.9 points and 13.7 rebounds, and Minnesota has won six of the last seven times he's reached the 30-point mark."When we have Kevin Love with 36 and 17, it's really hard to beat us," said forward Derrick Williams, who went 2 of 9 from the floor but had 11 rebounds Tuesday. "We had to get this one."The Timberwolves are trying to win three in a row over the Spurs for the first time since sweeping the four-game season series in 1996-97.

Best ATS Bet$ in the Sweet 16

You're out of your bracket pool.
You picked Duke in your survivor pool.
You bet on Missouri to win the tournament.
Stop dreaming about the big prize

    Focus on straight wagers.
There are just 15 games left to bet in the tournament

The prohibitive favorite to win the title is Kentucky.
At Bovada, the Wildcats are a touch over 2-1 (21-10).
(Second choice Ohio State checks in at 5-1.)
Instead of rushing in a bet on the Wildcats to win the tournament,
a better value option is to bet them individually in each game
and lay the points.Yes, I'm talking about Kentucky,

the team that is ranked 13th of our remaining 16 teams in the SB,
a team that is 13-21 ATS and one of the only four teams with a negative SB number (-.04).
(And the team that faces Chad Millman's Indiana Hoosiers in the Sweet 16.)
It is surprising that a 13-21 ATS team has a -.04 SB number. The expectation is that it should be worse. As a point of comparison, the only team left in the tournament that has an ATS record that resembles Kentucky is Xavier (12-18-2). Xavier's SB number is -.91. In games that have been decided by five points or fewer relative to the spread, Kentucky is 5-12 this year.Spread results that are decided by very small margins can be more attributed to luck, especially in the short run. Whether Kentucky gives up a meaningless 3-pointer at the end of a game when it's up 20 (and was an 18-point favorite) is a completely random outcome more than anything else. Obviously, the same can't be said for results that are more decisive. The team on the other extreme is Louisville. Despite being 20-13-1 ATS, Louisville has a -.41 SB number. Of the 16 teams left in the tournament, Louisville is the only one that has a positive ATS number and a negative SB number. Not surprisingly, its matchup against Michigan State (our No. 1 ranked SB team left) yields the biggest SB difference (4.76) between two teams facing each other in Sweet 16 contests. Enjoy the rest of the tournament.

    Phoenix Suns (23-23)
    at Orlando Magic (29-18)

    Amway Center

Despite Orlando's solid standing in the Eastern Conference, more performances like their latest will leave the Magic wondering if they can be a legitimate NBA title contender. The Magic look to bounce back from one of their worst losses of the season and continue their recent success against the visiting Phoenix Suns on Wednesday night. One night after Orlando was held to 34 points in the second half of a 91-81 loss at rival Miami, the Magic (29-18) scored their second-fewest points of the season during an 85-59 defeat at home to a Chicago team without injured star Derrick Rose on Monday.Orlando is third in the East, but has committed 59 turnovers in the last three games and failed to score 20 points over the last six quarters of the last two contests where its shot 37.5 percent. "We're just not building solid habits and making good enough decisions," coach Stan Van Gundy said. "And at the end of the day, you are going to hit the playoffs and you are going to be left with your habits. We're running out of time. We have 5 1/2 weeks and it's time."Dwight Howard had 18 points and 12 rebounds Monday, but none of his teammates scored more than 10 as the Magic lost for the third time in four games. Less than two weeks after winning 99-94 at Chicago on March 8, Orlando was outscored 25-11 in the fourth quarter and committed 19 turnovers that resulted in 25 points for the Bulls."When you play the way we played, this is a team-wide thing," Van Gundy said. "I've got to take responsibility."While Van Gundy believes he needs to take charge, his players have actually realized that they also must hold up their end of the deal if they want to go far in the postseason."If we want to win we all have to buy in - me, the team, the most important guy all the way to the least important guy," forward Glen Davis said. "Consistency (is what's lacking). Sometimes we get bored with the journey and just play to the level that we need to."Orlando has played at a high level while winning four of five versus Phoenix (23-23). The Magic have won the last three home meetings with the Suns by an average margin of 16.7 points. Howard has averaged 24.8 points in the last four home games versus Phoenix.Looking for their first win in Orlando since a 106-96 victory Nov. 10, 2007, the Suns try to bounce back after their season-high four-game winning streak ended with a 99-95 loss at Miami on Tuesday. Ex-Magic star Grant Hill had 19 points with seven rebounds as Phoenix blew a 10-point, fourth-quarter lead to lose for the fourth time in 15 games."(Miami) made the plays down the stretch, but we also had an opportunity to make plays that we didn't complete," said Suns coach Alvin Gentry, whose team succumbed to a 17-0 run in the final period.Phoenix forward Channing Frye had averaged 18.0 points on 51.6 percent shooting (33 of 64) in the previous five games, but went 1 of 7 from the field and finished with two points Tuesday.Hill scored 21 points in the Suns' 105-89 loss in their last trip to Orlando on Nov. 18, 2010.

    New York Knicks (22-24)
    at Philadelphia 76 ers (26-20)

    Wells Fargo Center

The New York Knicks' revival under coach Mike Woodson is turning the Atlantic Division into a three-team race. The Philadelphia 76ers would prefer to keep that from happening. The Knicks look to cut further into the 76ers' lead atop the Atlantic when the rivals meet for the final time this season Wednesday night at Wells Fargo Center.New York (22-24) seemed to be fading as recently as a week ago, when a six-game skid dropped the club seven games behind Philadelphia and 4 1/2 back of second-place Boston, prompting coach Mike D'Antoni's resignation. With Woodson at the helm, the Knicks have since won four in a row by an average of 22.5 points including Tuesday's 106-87 home victory over Toronto. Suddenly, New York is within four games of the Sixers and 2 1/2 of the Celtics."Guys are playing at a very high, confident level right now," said forward Carmelo Anthony, who had 17 points and eight rebounds versus the Raptors. "We just want to bottle that up and move on and keep it going."The Sixers (26-20) ended a three-game losing streak with Monday's 105-80 romp at league-worst Charlotte. They dominated the boards to the tune of 51-31 and outscored the Bobcats 59-36 in the second half.Hosting the Knicks on Wednesday and Boston on Friday will give Philadelphia an opportunity to re-establish some breathing room atop the division. "You don't want to look ahead on your schedule but when you lose three in a row, you start doing a lot of things out of character," guard Louis Williams said after Monday's win. "We're serious about trying to win this division and now we have to play the number two and three teams this week so we felt like it was important to get this one."Williams had 19 points Monday after averaging 9.3 during the three-game skid. He finished with a season-high 28 to lead all scorers in a 106-94 win at New York on March 11.Fellow Philadelphia guard Jrue Holiday struggled in that meeting, making 2 of 14 field goals for eight points. He's averaging 8.0 points on 26.7 percent shooting over his last five games against the Knicks.Holiday, though, has totaled 50 points and 11 assists in his last two games overall, including a career-high 30 points in Saturday's 89-80 loss at Chicago.Philadelphia and New York have split two meetings this season, both at Madison Square Garden. The Knicks won their last visit to Wells Fargo Center on April 6, getting 31 points and 11 rebounds from Anthony en route to a 97-92 victory.
Anthony is averaging 26.7 points and 9.7 rebounds over his last three games against the 76ers. However, he hasn't been nearly that productive during New York's current four-game winning streak, averaging 15.3 points and 5.3 rebounds.Jeremy Lin has been picking up the slack with 37 points and 16 assists over the last two games, including 18 and 10, respectively, against Toronto.Lin struggled greatly from the field against Philadelphia earlier this month, hitting 5 of 18 shots. He finished with 14 points and seven assists.
