Selection Sunday 2010: Mississippi State in final bracket, Virginia Tech out
Okay, that's it. Enough craziness for one day. This is my final bracket. I'm off to College Park soon. DeMarcus Cousins's shot with one-tenth of a second left -- which sent the SEC tourney final to overtime -- may have saved an at-large berth for some team out there. I decided to make the Bulldogs my last team in, though, because I was impressed with the performance. I feel less confident about my last three choices than I have during any other season. We'll see what happens in two hours.
Last four at-large teams in
31) Minnesota: wins over MSU and Purdue enough
32) Utah State: Brigham Young win carries weight
33) Texas-El Paso: Solid body of work
34) Mississippi State: Passes eye test in defeat
First four out35)
Illinois: RPI of 75 would be worst ever
36) Florida: losing record vs. top 100 teams
37) Virginia Tech: awful nonconference schedule. Just awful.
